I wasn't going to wait for traffic here, either (especially since it had started raining). Cars coming out onto Windsor stop in the bike path path - and back up if they can, if I approach. Technically, I should stop - I have no right of way (another disincentive for using the path). Drivers don't know that, though, and don't expect me to. Which comes first, predictability or legality?
